How Nefopam works Nefopam is a non-opioid pain reliever that works by blocking the transmission of pain signals to the brain, thereby decreasing pain perception.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Nefopam include nausea, dryness of the mouth, vertigo, abdominal pain, diarrhea, sleepiness, sweating, injection site pain, palpitations, and urinary retention.

  • Take it at the same time every day, either with or without food.

  • Be aware that it may cause dizziness or drowsiness.
  • Do not drive until you understand how Nefopam affects you.
