Loteprednol etabonate is a steroid that inhibits the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) responsible for redness, swelling, and itching. Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic that prevents bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, effectively killing the bacteria and treating the infection.
