Emicizumab is used in the treatment of hemophilia A.

How it Works

How Emicizumab works In individuals with hemophilia A who have low or absent factor VIII, the blood coagulation process cannot proceed normally. Emicizumab functions as a bridge, connecting factor IXa and factor X to enable the blood coagulation process to continue without the need to replace factor VIII.
