How it Works

How Phenylephrine, Menthol, Diphenhydramine, and Chlorpheniramine Maleate Work Phenylephrine, Menthol, Diphenhydramine, and Chlorpheniramine Maleate is a combination of four medicines: Phenylephrine, Menthol, Diphenhydramine, and Chlorpheniramine Maleate. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that narrows small blood vessels, providing relief from nasal congestion or stuffiness. Menthol produces a sensation of coolness and alleviates minor throat irritation. Diphenhydramine and Chlorpheniramine are antihistamines that relieve allergy symptoms such as a runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Phenylephrine, Menthol, Diphenhydramine, and Chlorpheniramine Maleate include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain or epigastric pain, loss of appetite, headache, dizziness, sleepiness, impaired coordination, itching, skin rash, restlessness, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), and excitement.
