Ezetimibe is a cholesterol absorption inhibitor that reduces the absorption of cholesterol from the intestines. Together, these medications offer a more effective reduction of cholesterol in the body.

Common side effects of Atorvastatin and Ezetimibe include muscle pain, nausea, increased transaminase levels in the blood, and upper respiratory tract infection.
