Children who have typhoid and do not require hospital admission can be well managed with Cefolac-O 100mg/100mg Tablet DT at home because of its excellent activity against organisms that cause typhoid fever. In Treatment of Bacterial infections Cefolac-O 100mg/100mg Tablet DT is a combination of two different antibiotics that work together, in different ways, to treat various bacterial infections. Cefixime works by stopping the growth of bacteria and kills them. Ofloxacin prevents multiplication and repair of infection causing bacteria and prevents further spread of the infection. This combination medicine can be used to treat many different bacterial infections such as ear, sinus, throat, lung, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues. It usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

Cefolac-O 100mg/100mg Tablet DT contains two antibiotics. Cefixime works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) while ofloxacin directly interacts with the genetic material of bacteria. CAUTION - Cefolac-O 100mg/100mg Tablet DT should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Cefolac-O 100mg/100mg Tablet DT may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Cefolac-O 100mg/100mg Tablet DT is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Cefolac-O 100mg/100mg Tablet DT is recommended. However, consult your child€™s doctor before giving $med_name to your child in case of a severe form of liver disease.
